Cool (another) New song from Address Unknown!

Yo. Check out "This Human Virion" on Address Unknown's myspace.

I've learned quite a few tricks of the trade from the masters of goth, the vocal stylings of Andrew Eldritch and Carl McCoy (Fields of the Nephilim) AND Peter Murphy's infamous goth "rap" as heard in "In the Night" can be heard near the end! Also... Daniel Ash's twangy... two-string chord... thing.

it sounds good.

I'm guessing you do everything, unless the girl has a really deep voice?

We haven't been able to get together and record yet, though she is the official vocalist. I'm merely filling in to bide my time and get the lyrics down. She sings in "Purgatory demo". I figure when the band gets its shit together, I'll do backup vocals.

I just got thru watching the first 2 "Planet of the Apes" films and then I clicked on this thread and listened to your song.

I was pretty surprised. I wasn't expecting much, but the stuff is actually really cool in spots (didn't care much for how it ended).

Overall a really nice retro sound. I really like your vocals. I hope you don't totally give way to a different singer, might be a cool duet if the girl has a typical female voice. Put me in mind of CHROME ("Firebomb" era) for some reason. I liked "crucify me" and "house of usher" better than the "virion" song.

I'll be inerested in hearing what your final product sounds like.
