Along with these, I suggest the book What is Goth? by Voltaire. I personally found the book the most excellent resource.

To add to this, goth is NOT:

-- People who cut themselves or think about suicide all the time.

-- People who are chronically depressed.

-- Satan worshippers or involved in Wicca. [There are some, but they are a vast minority.]

-- Lovers of Marylin Manson. [Manson has his own subculture, and it really has very little to do with Goth proper.]

-- Lovers of Linkin Park, or other pop-rap bands.

IMO, this site was much more useful to me for information than this one, imho.
