Wow, cradle, that's creepy.

Crying_Crimson_Tears, I know what you mean. Like I said above about my bizarre-o dreams, I know when things like that are going to happen. The only time I didn't have a dream was with Hank, one of my neighbors, but a few minutes before the phone rang (his wife called to let us know), I just had a sudden realization that I wasn't going to see him again. Then the phone rang and I knew who it would be, and it scared me a little bit. My mom and my sister both knew, too. My mom has a dream the night before, which was when he died, and he was walking down the street (he had a brain tumor and was paralyzed on one side of his body) and he said to her "Don't worry about me anymore. I'm gonna be fine now," and then he was gone. When my sister got home from school, she hadn't even gone through the front door yet, but she just looked up at me and immediately said "Hank died" even though no one had told her yet.

The creepiest thing that I've experienced was having to go through my father's addiction to quaaludes when I was growing up. Those pills just made him insane, and you never knew what the hell he was going to do next. One time he overdosed and was laying on the floor naked, covered in sweat, thrashing around...but the worse was when one day he got pissed at my mother and chased her into the bathroom with a butcher knife, threating to kill her.

I've had several creepy experiences, but the most just blatently weird one happened when I was four-ish, and I saw a bat fly into my closet. Which was odd, because I obviously do not keep bats in my house. I have been told before that I probably imagined it, but that's not possible because I was wide awake, and immediatly told my mom, who remembers me flipping out and saying there was something in my closet.

When I was a baby I used to be plauged with horrible dreams..occultis type things...it seemed that it was the house we were living in was haunted almost...not poultergiest type things but evil type ghosts...
I used to dream about horrible things...bodies strewn about the house...venturing into the attic and finding dozens of dead bodies hanging up in from the ceiling...every dream I had had a lion in it...my mom,who at the time was a christian, asked the the preast a few questions about my nightmares...he said that lions meant a sign of evil...he came and blessed the house and I stopped the dreams...

I think that the worst dream I had ever had in that house was...well here ill explain it...

I walked into my room, everything has a greyish feel to it. Fog is billowing from the sides of the floor in a manner that you would only find in horror movies. I look out of the window and the sky is light green.
I hear a noise.
It sound as if it's a faint clicking followed by gurgling water.
I see a grey haired woman crawling across my walls and ceiling like spiderman, she had a white dress on...I didnt see her face untill she crawled to the spot of the ceiling that was right above my head...I looked straight up and she turned her head exorsist style to make her face directly facing mine...she had black eyes...as if the whole eye, even the whites had turned black...her skin was dead...almost silver...the deep gurgling went on...soon black goop came from her mouth...and then a lion's roar filled the air and i woke up...

It was a while back but I remember it like it just happened...

It sends shivvers down my spine every time I think about it.

Wow, Cradle, that's crazy. Reminds me of my sister, she used to have night terrors as a side effect of her medication. If you don't know, those are like nightmares, only much worse. In a night terror, you can't typically wake up, like you can with a regular nightmare. Someone can't just hear your screams and go shake you until you jerk back to reality. If someone did that to you while you were having a night terror, you'd work it into the dream, and it'd become some monster trying to strangle you or something like that. Same thing with people talking to you. So the only thing to do when my sister would have those would be to wait for her to wake up.

I remember one time, we were staying at my grandparents' house so my sister slept in the guest room with my parents and I slept on the air matress in the living room. I went into the guest room to say goodnight to my parents and my sister was already asleep. Right as I was about to walk out of the room though, she starting muttering to herself and I heard something about a mouse and just random sounds, and then she sat up, her eyes flew open, and she started screaming bloody murder. I was maybe 5 when this happened, she was almost 3. Scared the crap out of me.

Yeah, my sister did the same thing. She didn't normally get out of bed, but when she did it was crazy because it was so hard to tell if she was awake sometimes. She'd look right at you and spaz out like you were trying to kill her.

After she switched meds, finally, the night terrors stopped, but she still had a tendancy so talk in her sleep and sleep with her eyes open. Hah, once we were both sleeping in the living room at my grandparents' place, and she woke me up talking in her sleep, and I was like "What's going on?" and she just muttered this guttural "Shut up, I'm sleeping". Creepy, coming from a kid who was barely 50 pounds and under 4 feet tall.

Gah, now that we're done being mean, back to topic! Creepiest thing that I've had happen to me is the time when I caught my mother sleepwalking going through my underwear drawer.

Oh yea. I remember a creepy moment... In a funny type of way. I woke up one morning and called my girlfriend to wake her up. I dont hear a ring, yet i hear someone else dialing a number. I say "Hello." A female voice replies, "Hello?" I ask, "Who are you calling?" She replied, "I called you like i said i would, in the morning." If you dont understand, simply put. I called my girlfriend but the second i dialed the numbers she picked up the phone and dialed my number. Not that creepy but a funny coincodence. (excuse my spelling)

Heh, that is cool.
My phone's also having some quirk. It's interfering with other people's phones. And my neighbor never shuts up about her baby ¬¬

Haha, that reminds me of this walkie-talkie set I used to have... Once, when I was in I think 3rd grade, I tok one and the neighbor kid took aother and we ran down to opposite ends of the block to test them out, and as I was going by this one house, I picked up on a phone conversation and I remember thinking "Oh, wow, that's so cool!" but also sorta walking away trying to act inconspicous (can't remember how to spell that, I'm having a bad spelling day) because I didn't want to get caught "spying". Haha.

Hahaha, reminds me of the time I tried to call one of my friends and accidentally screwed up the order on the last two digits of her phone number, and I got some old lady, and at first I thought it was like, her mom with a cold or something, so I just was all "Yo, is Guadi home?" and the lady pauses for a moment, then says "Who is this?" in a soft, sorta paranoid voice and I realized I had the wrong number, so I said "Oh, sorry, wrong number, didn't mean to bother you," and she just kept saying "What do you want? Who are you? Hello?" in that same, quiet paranoid sorta raspy voice. I hung up on her. I felt bad, but she wasn't going to get off the phone unless I did.

I know the pain. Which is why I have a secretary initiation on the phone that everyone makes fun of me for because it sounds like I'm some secretary at a doctor's office wanting to make sure that someone remembers their appointment. I've had a few people that thought I really was one and had me repeat myself a few times and it gets parents of my friends to like me without meeting me. ^.^ Good phone etiquet *dear god that is hard to spell!* is useful.

lol. Your lucky, your the one listening in. My phone lines were crossed with the neighbors for a few months and they can hear everything i said. They often picked up the phone and easedropped to pass time as i was talking to a certain gf on the phone.
