He should've just tried to balance it on the top of his 'hawk...

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference between a deathhawk and a mohawk?

Jillian, Thanks. You're pretty awesome yourself.
Slap Your Love, yes it is and yes you may. Hahaha.
Demoness, A deathhawk is a much wider version of a mohawk and its teased up so it looks softer and not all straight and rigid.

All that I have seen have been around 6 or 7" tall. I have not seen any that were dyed any unnatural colors though. I saw three girls like this this week. It actually looks quite cool, in my opinion, but I just don't know how I feel about mohawks becoming popular in the hip hop culture. Maybe I'm just being snooty wanting the mohawk to stay a punk/sometimes goth thing.

Yes, here in New York, that style is beginning to be popular. A woman who works in the JCPenny near my building has that type of mohawk, but her hair is dyed a fierce red.
Their hair is a lot thicker, therefore, can stand to stick up straight by brushing.

Eww! Those are the worst! I had one for a dreadful few weeks after a stylist completely botched my cut. Thankfully it's fixed, but yah, it's the worst hairstyle ever! Whenever I see one, I think of "Something about Mary".

Now this is more of what I'm hoping for when I get to college
http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...a/DSC_4086.jpg
I prefer a mohawk than a deathawk. I would get obsessd if I had the knowledge that a part of my look was voluntarily messy.
