I'm going purple soon! Hopefully, I miss my purple hair. I dyed it reddish a couple months ago, and it turned out awful. My hair didn't take the dye, it smelled like chemicals for almost a week, and I have a brown red stripe that goes around my head where my roots were.
I might post pictures, I'm getting over my pictures-on-the-internet thing slightly. I guess if anyone wanted to kidnap me and murder me in a most gruesome way, they could do it from all the pics of me on MySpace.

Hmm, I might do blue on one side and keep the other my natural color (black) but that'll have to wait until after July since I'm gonna grow it out and give myself some v-bangs. For now I'm just getting myself some v-bangs and letting the hair grow.

Not an option, I live in a very cold state, minnesota actually, and I prefer my hair long. That and my parents (lathough jokingly) always tell me to "shave it all of and go bald." so for right know I am going to try and find something to do with this hair that will keep it long. My hair has been short for too many times, and I don't like looking like I am a permanent poodle growing out of my head! I really look horrible with the poodle do!!

Hey I live in Minnesota too! Who woulda thunk it? Anywho, I am growing out my hair for a mohawk, I'm at the Travis Bickle stage of a mohawk now, so it'll take a while. Then I will dye it neon green.

That's cool! any whoo, I want to do something with my hair that has a Gothic renaissance feel, I have found some basics that I can do on my own but they really aren't a "style," there more of a easy do.

An undercut.
Shave everything but the top :B
Lift your hair up, or stand on your head, and shave in an upward motion.
Use a comb as a straight-edge.
Or go to a hair salon :P

My hair is currently green and a tiny bit longer than my chin.
I'm thinking of shaving off one side and doing some sort of asymmetrical 'do.
Kind of like a side-mullet.
Actually, I guess it IS a side mullet.

It should be awesome.
I've been wanting a mohawk for like a year but you have one.
So that's automatically a no.
What about a bob?

Well, not a lot I suppose Korinna. Speaking of which, I've got to shave my head back down today. Not skinhead, but short hair.

My only concern is the weight of dreads my length (since my hair is long enough that in a ponytail, I can almost sit on the ends) combined with my fine hair..

I don't think that is much of a problem. One of the hippy chicks that I go to school with has hair much like yours (only her hair is about 3 inches shorter and very light blond) and she now has dreads that she loves

To me both those haircuts look like crap. But that is my opinion. Personally, I have a crappy little haircut, that happened once when I was upset and grabbed a pair of scissors... ...But I can fix it with a little hair gel and a tiara and it looks like an actual hair cut... ...Actually, it looks like an actual haircut the way it is, but I get bored with it at times.

I enjoy obscure hairstyles.
The more obscure the better, and those two
are quite obscure. I could care less for aesthetic appeal.

Well, my hair is black and this weekend I'm going to bleach a few strips of it white.
If anyone has any tips/comments/warnings, I'd really like to hear them.

Ok so I face a bit of a dilemma. I have for years had my head shaved completely bald with the whole moustache/goatee look. Now however (mainly the fact I am getting divorced and my job allows me to do whatever the hell I want style wise) I am growing my hair out. However it's at that gnarly peachfuzz stage (only half an inch long maybe) and quite depressingly bad. I am trying to figure out what to do with it while I re-grow it with the intention of probably removing the hair on the back and sides once the top is longer. Right now I had considered just shaving off the sides, letting it get long enough to start using gel in and basically do a "wide" mohawk until it's longer. Any ideas?
Also in a bit of a pickle regarding the moustache and goatee, considering ditching the goatee and leaving the moustache and soul patch but open to others thoughts.
