| Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I do agree with Jillian and you. That interview with her and what is said about her is complete and utter nonsense. I still like one of her songs though, its catchy. What the fuck has Dead from mayhem got to do with her anyway? And the new Souxsie? fuck that. Lol. She does remind me of Avril Lavigne...but she's also pretty hot. Butyeah...she seems a bit fake, i'll probably end up not liking the song i like of hers in a few weeks lol.

I haven't seen anybody mention Murder by Death or New Model Army. They absolutely need more love! Both bands are so sweet . Does anyone here like them?

They're very melodic, and kind of celtic.
Another band I don't hear much about is Mortiis. Mortiis' first CD is not too shabby. The second one is more techno, and is my personal favorite. But I don't like they turned the "metal" way for their third one.
Finally, one band that, despite having its share of followers, I don't see mentioned often: Gothminister. The band is industrial, not goth; don't get confused because of the name.

I'm going to have to agree. Qntal is awesome.

Ok. Well, the Virgin Prunes for one. They need so much love, an orgy in fact. Hah.

All those bands are mainstream and have enough love (money) in their pockets to last a lifetime.

Murder by Death isn't half bad, from the little I've heard, but NMA is righteous stompy sweetness.

Seconded.
Well, for me it's the usual...
Theatre of Hate, UK Decay, Spirit Caravan, Goatsnake, Hermano, Dozer... and some new ones: Blowback, Asteroid, Red Giant.

I think that the band Din Fiv needs more love. Or at least, if they're getting more love, then I'm not aware of it :P.
