I've been wanting to get some combat boots for a while... is there a place where I could get a pair? For a fair price?

Don't know what stores you live near but try an Army Surplus store if you can find one, maybe?

The shiny version ^_^!
Big shiny boots are the best. I got them super cheap too, £50 in a sale in London...which is bloody good if you ask me, considering London prices.

I just spent a good bit on some boots, lol! These are on order right now, both is black leather:

http://www.pennangalan.com/boots/FW63.php
I've had both of these boots in the past, but I ordered them too small. I finally sold them, and re-purchased them in a larger size.
I just got these in the mail finally...after a 4 month wait! I had to have them special make them becuase my calves are so big, but they were worth the wait.

1. Go to http://armedforcesoutfitters.net/
2. Click on 'Boots' in the top left of the screen.
3. Dun dun duUUN!
4. Give Haex props.
I've dealt with this company quite a few times, and they've been reliable. My favorite brands are Bates and HH brand. Altama(link) is nice, but doesn't make my size. Corcoran is very nice, but rather expensive, and doesn't have the tread I like. The ones in 'economy line boots' are cheap as fuck though(if you don't mind stuff from China).

*gives props to Haex*
Ugh, I don't think I live near a army surplus store, or anything like that. Most likely no thrift store, either... I'm too paranoid to go around looking for one, too.

I love slink fashions, they really do have an amazing selection (they have hundreds of boots and shoes in tons of different styles), fantastic prices, they ship fairly quickly, and are fantastic to work with if there ends up being a problem with your order.
I have gotten these and these which I love, and my roommate got these which she loves
I am thinking about getting these when they are restocked

They sure are ^.^
At first I though that the company would be a pain to deal with or something because the prices seemed too good to be true but they actually have fantastic customer service and I love them

I just got some combat boots at khols today. They are regularlly 90 bucks but I got them on sale for 38. You can never have too many black army/combat boots, IMO.

Who cares! Just wear what you like. I happen to own a pair of combat boots and Doc Martins. I like them both.

I'm seriously considering a pair of Demonia shoes found here) but I'm not sure.
How good a brand is Demonia? Would they be worth 46$?
If I get them, I'm getting them in shiney .

LaBelleDame: The materials Demonia use to make their shoes SUCK. I had a pair of heels from them similar to those (just without the flared heel) in the shiney patent. The patent material they use is so thin and soft, you can press your fingernail against it and leave a permanent indentation or even a tear. I wore them only twice and they had terrible rips and scuffs in the patent. I would say they are not worth it.

Demonias are a bit hit and miss. I know people who have gotten them and never had a problem but I also know people who have gotten them and they were ruined after one use. I would say to try and get a good price and $46 seems a bit high to me. Here they are on slink for quite a bit less shipping should be about $8 so all together you would be paying $38 for them. I have ordered through slink a few times in the past and have quite happy with the them

Is 8$ for US shipping? I'm in Canada, so shipping is usually a bit higher for me.

I paid $8 but I'm not quite sure where the company is based, you could always go on the site and when you go to check out it will tell you the shipping cost
