You do not have suicidal issues. I hate to be so blunt about it, but it's the truth.

First of all, if you did have suicidal issues, then folks like myself have already told you the proper ways to go about getting the right sort of help for your issues. Furthermore, folks like myself...who did take you seriously, were hurt and offended to find that you would post about such things, and not be completely serious about it.

You say that we are the horrible ones for not taking you seriously, but since one of the reasons that you said you posted it was that you were 'just bored', I am afraid that not even I can take you seriously.

I once gave you my email for if you are ever in true need, and I stand by that. But please do not blame the entire Goth subculture for something that is not our fault, and for reactions that could have been found on -any- kind of Internet forum. [Yes, there were some harsh words said, but then again, you have been on this board long enough to know what kind of posts are taken seriously, and which ones are not.]

Again, I am sorry for having to be so harsh, but I am tired of hearing that Goths in general are at fault, when I myself tried to be supporting and at least attempted to take you seriously.

I think that you are right in that people need to be careful of who they trust, but I also believe one can be -too- careful.

Everyone needs someone to trust, and that may not always be someone within one's own subculture. I have found very wonderful people who shared completely different tastes in music, fashion, and aesthetic than me, and I have found very wonderful people who do. Also, I have found perfectly detestable people on both sides of the fence.

I think trust is a lot more complicated than simply choosing a subculture.
