Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I sent off for a bunch of CDs from the times.
Jesus and Mary Chain - Psychocandy
Echo and The Bunnymen - Ocean rain
Joy Division - Closer
New Order - Power, Corruption & Lies
And some CD by a band called LOVE that I haven't listened to.

Yes, that's the one. It was really expensive, but definetely worth it. Although I did have a lot of the tracks on it already, a lot I hadn't even heard of. And the box it comes in is so cool, probably the main reason I didn't just download it.

Opeth- Watershed
And I am very pleased with it. Officially my favorite Opeth since Still Life. A very original piece of music.

1996- The Sisters Of Mercy's live recording on 14th July 1996. The day I turned 9! I have no excuse not to buy it...now I'm eagerly waiting for a parcel on my doorstep.

(For those who don't know, this is Draconysius' band. I ordered a copy a couple weeks ago and it just arrived...even autographed by our own Draconysius.)

The SAW V Soundtrack.
It has a couple of Emilie Autumn tracks, and Strangers by William Control.

I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning by Bright Eyes.
I was disappointed. Not as good as I'd heard.
