Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Goth made fashionable for fall.
So I was flipping through the pages of the October 05 issue of Teen Vogue and goth is in, for fall. Designers from Louis Vuiton to Marc Jacobs used goth elements for their fall fashions. I actually like some of the clothing...
It's too expensive, though.
Once again goth creeps into to the mainstream...

Funny thing is my gothiest-bestest friend was telling me this stuff today. I agree with Xnguela on being able to get cool stuff, but I would wear it anyway.

That's a very interesting major, I say . Maybe I tend to not care about fashion and stuff, but I blame it on living in the shitty conservative province (Querétaro, if someone is interested) of Mexico and seeing all trends to be for "social groups" (if I can call them that way) that I most certainly wouldn't fit in even if I wanted with all my heart.
Sadly but true, my perspective is a lot different.
Although, my almost-achieved-goal for this year is to lose my remaining overweight and be a model. THEN I will notice fashionstuffs, I think.

Heh heh... I'll do it the easier (cheaper) way and wait till goth goes out of style yet again and pick stuff up at the thrift store ^.^

I'm curious to see what's in that magazine now. I won't buy it though. The only magazines I buy are Neopets, Comso, and possibly Sohen Jump.

I'm pretty sure that you'll find a copy at your local library or at Borders.
Funny, I didn't buy a copy, I simply took it, and left. lol.

You sound like a bondage fiend. I'm going to tie you up and piss all over you.
Well, only if your mom lets me.

This summer they said black was in this year. Well it is considering it made by major fashion designers, it would be more expensive. Too bad money doesn't go on trees. How expensive was it, cyberJade?

Oh, thanks! Really... I'm sorry for the late response, but I don't get to use the internet as much as I would like to...
Luna is actually the union of my two names, and I too pretend is my real one (but only in the net and with friends).
I may post more and stop being a lurker.
Also, I like you. You're an amazing person!

Oh.
My.
(God).
I saw that crap, and although some of it was cute, some of it TOTALLY missed the point.
Too overdone or processed.
But yeah...Saturday my mom bought me a bitchin' pirate shirt..

Wheee. It's beginning. Today I saw some pretty decent goth stylish clothes in a store.... Thanks God for conservative parents who will not let their daughters dress in black. Yay for MY parents who are alright with everything I wear!

X, you were right! whent shopping for a coat (I got bored and sarted insulting everything people were trying to sell me in German, except in a polite voice) at Dillards, and there was more cool stuff than the normal office clothes! Curses to whoever decided that jacket should be 405 bucks! I don't have a budget to spend that kind of money on anything >.<

I actually bought a velvet and lace skirt by Ralf Lauren I found at a thrift store. I didn't even notice until I got home. I thought "Erm this is Ralf Lauren??? Must be with the tag and all, oh well I don't care."

The most expensive, was this nice purple dress at $320, by Betsey Johnson.
Oh gosh, excuse me for not responding, I don't go online that often.

Ah the things you will find at Thrift Stores. I've found so many shirts and pants that are ripe for the modification.
