Don't care that you don't care. What I say is true and you know it.

It's not resentment. It's annoyance. If he's not posting obscene amounts of self-pity, he's posting about shitty music merely for its shitty sound, not so much its lyrics, as you said.
Were you here during his period where literally every post he posted mentioned how he liked Japanese hardcore? Specifically Japanese hardcore. Or when he didn't stop mentioning Napalm Death. Or when it was all about Motorhead.

Why did he mention these bands in threads that don't have anything to do with music? Because that's who he is. He has nothing but his music. That's how one-dimensional he is.
His only source of validation is that he knows a lot of punk bands. He said he would have voted for Jello Biafra. How punk of him! But has never talked about Biafra's politics or his spoken word works? No.

Punkpunkpunk. Fuck his punk. He's the type of punk that wears The Casualties patches, and I hate that punk.

Dude, you need to calm down. Oh... and I checked out some of the bands you guys talked about, and they make great music.

Calm down? He asked me something, why should I not answer him with the truth?

You can rant at him all day, and it's not going to make a difference, it's all set in stone with SOD.

I'm not ranting for his benefit. I'm ranting for mine. As I said to SOD which does prove what you're saying, I don't care if he doesn't care. What I say is still true and he knows it.

Few things here:

One, I've been on these boards since August of 2007, so yes, I remember his Japcore phase. He always mentions Napalm death.
I was also there where every other word from his mouth was literally punk.

I would vote for Jello, but I know a fair bit about his politics. He ran for president in 2008 but lost the green party nomination to Nader, who is frankly the running gag in the politics of this country.

I admit SOD comes off as one dimensional, but I still like him. He just needs to let some other dimensions in.

And lastly, Hey! I wear The Casualties patches. Well, one, it's on one of my boots.

I find all this quite funny. See Jillian, you really do nothing about me at all. I am one dimensional on here, but in real life, I have a lot more to me. I just like to express myself as I choose fit. So piss off already.

Back on topic, I know it really doesn't fit in the genre(s), but anybody else like early Pitchshifter and Godflesh? I picked up "Streetcleaner" a few months ago and am gradually warming up to it.

I've heard of Pitchshifter.
What're they like?

Their early stuff is the best, great early industrial metal:

Pretty much Godflesh worship, but still good. These are off their first album "Industrial" from 1991.

I know you hear. You annoy what you shouw of yourself here.

You're pretty stupid if you believe I shouldn't have an opinion of you because YOU decide not to show who you really are and merely decide to be one dimensional and either list shitty punk bands for no reason than the feeding of your own ego, or bitch about how you can't get a girl.

You don't know me outside of this site either, so why are you being a hypocrite? You piss off, I'm clearly better than you.

And furthermore, what's wrong with The Casualties? They're fun and rather talented. They're not the greatest, but they're not bad.

I think I've heard some Casualties... some song that went "Tomorrow belongs to us..." something like that...

Wait... aren't they also backed by Hot Topic, or is that some other band that I'm thinking of?

What about the song Down and Out where they sing about how society turns it's back on the homeless? How about the entire Under Attack album?
