Okay, so I started at 160 lbs.
Now I'm at 155 pounds (though I've no idea how). I've decided that instead of just going back to 145 lbs like I usually am, I'm going to try to go all the way with this calorie counting and get down to 135 and maintain there. I haven't decided if calorie counting is practical for a daily routine as opposed to just weight loss but when I figure it out I'll let you know.
Even dropping five pounds is a good motivator, but the thing is that it's normal for me to gain or lose five pounds in the course of a night so I'm not sure if I should even count this as a victory for me.

Jesus PJ, if my stomach looked as good as that, I would literally cry tears of joy. Instead mine is all jiggly and covered in filthy stretchmarks

I'm in the underweight-normal weight range and PJ's belly looks like mine.

You seriously want pics of my jiggly, flabby, stretch mark covered stomach?

If I can get the pen to go over the stretch marks, sure thing.

I don't carry weight in my stomach all that much, it mostly sits in my thighs and my arms. I bulge out more side to side than I do front to back anyways.

Your stomach is completely flat, you have virtually no marks and no visible excess fat of any sort that I can see.
You have no side rolls or creases in that picture, and your hips do not appear to be excessively wide in any way.
PJ, I have no idea what on earth you are seeing when you look in a mirror, but it appears you are not accurately seeing what is actually there, if that image is anything to go by.
I'm not saying this to be complimentary either, I being 100% honest.

Same here >.< The area I hate the most on mine is under my bellybutton. In PJ's picture, hers is totally flat in that area. On me, that bit sticks right out in a huge michellin tyre. My stomach bunches into 3 distinct rolls when I sit down, the bottom one being the biggest .
What really annoys me is that the muscle underneath is rock solid from all the crunches I've done over a year and a half in aerobics and the gym.
I'm on the BFFM plan to try and fuck all this fat off once and for all

I totally understand, my stomach is exactly like that but I have the added problem of having like a ...flap of skin as well as the actual fat. It's from a combination of being really fat and losing a lot of weight and the fact that when I was pregnant, I was the size of a small house. Sadly, I can shift the fat but not the loose skin and I certainly can't afford the surgery to get rid of it
Also, what's the BFFM plan?

This
http://www.burnthefat.com/from_fat_t...y_49_days.html
( ignore the woman in the first picture, I think she's an extreme example of what happens if someone who is already slim but just needs toning, does this as opposed to someone who is actually overweight)
It does look like a cheesy scam on first glance, but I'm on a weightloss forum with a lot of US members, and in the "does it work? " section, I asked if this guy was for real and if this book was any good.
They expose a lot of scams on there, like Hoodia and so on, so I figured asking actual human beings was better than getting sucked in by the hype.
I was told that yes, he is real and that the book is indeed worth buying, and contains a lot of really good information on fatloss and building lean muscle . He has another book called the bodyfat soloution, which is a proper hardback, not an e book. I haven't been able to get a copy yet though.
I only bought it the other day so obviously I haven't had results just yet. But the types of food work for me ( despite not being keen on salmon I'm still munching it ) and I'm going to be adjusting my exercises in the gym to try and fit with the plan as best I can manage.
I've also tried his high protien pancakes which actually aren't bad.
http://www.burnthefatinnercircle.com...c/124.cfm?sd=2
I read his blog too
http://www.burnthefatblog.com/
I've tried everything else and reached a plateau, so I'm giving this a go before I have to resign myself to having an extremely ugly stomach forever. I also cannot afford surgery

My stomach isn't flat at the bottom, that was a full-on photo. If I'd have taken it from the side you'd see that there is a pooch. Everyone has this. When I sit down, I also have three distinct rolls, the bottom being the biggest. You can even see the pink marks from said rolls in the photo I posted.
Though I appreciate everyone telling me I'm not fat and all, I never said I was overweight, I just said I'm bigger than I want to be. Also, once again, looking at my stomach to determine how large I am is hardly an indicator, as I've said before my weight doesn't settle on my stomach. It settles on my thighs and my upper arms.
Unlike Honeythorn, I have absolutely NO muscle mass whatsoever. Also, I DO have quite a lot of stretch marks on the sides of my stomach/hips and on my thighs and boobs.
That photo proves nothing, lol. Once again I am not overweight, I am just a lot bigger than I am comfortable with.

pardon the face, this is an older picture but I think you can kind of see what I'm talking about when I say my fat gets stuck on my hips and arms. I'm shaped like a bowling pin. That was probably 15 pounds ago.

It may be the angle and that half of you isn't in the picture, but I'm still not seeing the problem at all here. Your hips are actually supposed to go out , not be straight down from the waist. I also don't see where there is any excess fat on your arms.
I do see where you're coming from by saying you don't feel comfortable at your current weight. I've got people left right and centre saying I look fine now or that I should stop. But I'm still extremely unhappy with my size and weight so I'm continuing to diet and exercise.
I simply can't pinpoint the areas you're saying are a problem for you in the pictures you've posted.
If you carry more proportion on your lower half then this basically makes you a "pear" shape. There is absolutely nothing you can do about that, and no amount of diet or exercise will prevent you from carrying any weight ( excess or otherwise ) in that area.
I didn't actually say you were fat/overweight, or hint at such by the way. Being " bigger than I am comfortable with" as you said, implies that you believe yourself to be carrying excess weight or mass ( fat I would presume you meant, since you say you have very little muscle mass ) in certain areas.
I simply said that from the photos you posted ( in which I'd guess you were trying to point out the areas you feel are a problem ) I can't see these supposed areas of extra weight at all.

From the time I was 14 to two years ago I always stayed between 110-120 lbs. Then as soon as I turned 20 it went downhill. I ended up gaining 30 lbs... and being short, this isn't a good thing.
Starting from this past August I started eating "healthier"... by healthy I mean hardly eating anything during the week and then stuffing myself on the weekends. This fucked up my metabolism and I didn't lose anything. Then in around December I cut out junk food and sodas completely, and got down to 140 which was great...but I was still super depressed that I couldn't fit into my old size 4's. To which point I decided it would be a good idea to get a gym membership which started last month...
I've also been changing over to a vegetarian diet.
I didn't weigh myself for a long time, till this past Monday and I read 133 lbs!!!
I'm not TOO far from my goal!
Crazy thing is I'm eating all the time!
I eat when I wake up, I eat a snack at around 10, eat lunch, eat another snack at 3, eat dinner, eat a light snack at 8. I've also started drinking A LOT of water...water....water.
AND coconut juice, BABY coconut juice is fullll of nutrients and is excellent for before and after a workout.
Hopefully I get down to my goal of 120 my May. If I keep going at this rate, I might get down lower.

Yeaaaaaaaah, I have really short legs as well, if my hips weren't so big, kids trousers and jeans would be perfect for me in terms of leg length.Sadly, I struggle to find jeans to fit my hips and ass (even adult sizes are a pain to get to fit right) so I wear skirts and dresses exclusively as they are easier for me to get to fit.
