I think that is giving far too much credit for talent that the sock puppet known as Stephanie Meyer clearly does not have. The masses consume the dreck of talentless people like her en mass all the time: Dan Brown, Sydney Sheldon, Richard Bach, et al.
Who is the puppet master that causes the pundits to laud the work of such hacks, thereby causing the idle masses to flock to them?
