Catherine Mintz
Catherine Mintz writes fantasy, horror, science fiction, and poetry. In addition to First Light, Unicorn Battle, which is a collection of her poetry, will be available this year. Another of her short stories is included in Whitley Streiber’s Aliens, an HWA anthology. Educated as an anthropologist specializing in Southeast Asia, Mintz has studied Chinese and Japanese in addition to Latin and French. A visual artist as well, she is also the author of The Hunting of the Monster Bear: Native American Stories Retold.
