The Greatest Video Game Music
On “The Greatest Video Game Music”, you will find tunes that bring back all kinds of memories. The brilliant London Philharmonic Orchestra ALONG WITH THEIR HAUNTINGLY FAMILIAR MELODIES and Andrew Skeet work together to compose tracks from games such as Splinter Cell, Battlefield 2, and Call of Duty 4, to name a few. The track for “Final Fantasy VIII – Liberi Fatali”, contains beautiful vocals and a powerful composition. “Super Mario Bros.: Theme” was a fun, upbeat take on the classic, and “World of Warcraft: Seasons of War” contains somber notes. Some more notable tracks were the “Tetris Theme”, which had me looking to the sky for falling objects to stack, and the “Battlefield 2: Theme”, which was a compelling and dynamic addition. For fans, this album will be a must to add to their playlist, and if you want to hear beautiful renditions of some of the most recognized videogame theme songs, this will be a smart purchase.
