This episode ended on one helluva note leaving me wondering how it will all wrap up next week. Before I get into that, let me recap what happened tonight. It opened with a very pissed Sookie looking for some answers from Marlow as they’re just about to throw down, but before she fries him with her special vampire killing ball of light, and a desperate Jessica was seeking absolution while she’s dealing with a near fairy blood overdose, but the real kicker is when Bill […]

We left off last episode with Niall and Jason outside in Sookie’s yard, chasing who they believe to be Warlowe. Now we see Sookie and Ben drag Jason back into her home after he collapses in the front yard, and Sookie knows vampire blood would be just the thing to revive him. But with no vampire in sight, Sookie runs in the next room to dial 911 while Ben watches over Jason. Before you know it, Ben’s true identity is revealed as his fangs appear […]

Eric might’ve made a surprise bargaining chip in the Governor’s daughter, Willa, when his intended kill goes south, forcing him to take Willa and run. With the True Blood shortage continuing, the vampire chaos keeps on raging. Eric brings Willa back to Fangtasia and she admits she wants to help him against her father, claiming that she doesn’t like what her father does anymore than Eric does. She reveals that her father has a camp where humans are experimenting on vampires and it seems that […]

There are a lot of strangers in town and one in particular looks mighty hungry. Warlowe, no wait a minute, Jason and Sookie’s fairy grandfather, is the one who gave Jason a ride. What a trip this guy is. Rutger Hauer as a fairy for one is, well, what the hell? H e does bring a bit of dangerous crazy to this role that only he could. Add in the wild, disheveled hair and the Beetlejuice inspired suit, and it makes for an interesting twist […]

It was a fun, dark and action filled season premiere on True Blood as the fans have come to expect. Picking up where the last episode left off, vampire Bill didn’t meet his true death after all. Instead, he’s now evolved into a super vamp of sorts – the mother effing king of all bloodsuckers you might say. To borrow Jason’s awesome description, Bill is now a naked evil Superman. And everyone’s scared. Due to the shortage of True Blood, the shifty Governor of Louisiana […]

Well, here we are, folks. It’s the end of season one of The Following. Things aren’t looking so good for Hardy and especially Agent Parker and Claire. And with Carroll severely wounded, this is anyone’s game. Let’s see how it will play out, shall we? “The Final Chapter” opens with Hardy and the FBI review footage from the attack on the center, they ID one of the followers, Alex, and also make the connection that Carroll has brought to life some of Poe’s better known […]

Here goes Carroll watching more Hardy porn. As we are watching the full-fledged spiraling descent of what little sanity Carroll had left, we are also seeing him hanging on with a gossamer thin thread to what remains of his beloved followers. He may be dying with that gut wound, and now he comes back to Emma, begging for forgiveness, needing her help, wanting her trust, but I think we all know that she definitely can’t be trusted. With Joey’s description of the house, Hardy and […]

Sheriff Roderick is helping out the FBI right under Hardy’s nose. But one thing he didn’t count on was that Weston would be back. When Weston sees him, he pulls a gun on him. Roderick eyes him momentarily and was surprised to see him, banking on Weston being in the hospital. Roderick walks away and the rest of the sheriffs’ office pin down Weston as Roderick walks out the door. We learn that Roderick’s real name is Tim Nelson and he had Carroll as an […]

Episode twelve titled, “The Curse”, starts off with Claire trying to make a run for it with Joey first thing in the morning, only to be met at the gate by Roderick and a group of the followers. Good try, bad call. Now Claire’s on house arrest courtesy of sheriff Roderick. Creepy Carroll informs Claire that trust must be earned. In New Jersey, Hardy and the FBI are checking out the cult’s training grounds. A beat up Weston is back and looking worse for the […]

Finally we have the return of my favorite Immortalizer, Takeshi Yamada. Tonight he goes up against the challenger, Gary Robbins. Tonight’s theme is “Heaven and Hell”, which should provide for an interesting contest. Robbins is a Hollywood taxidermist that provides his pieces for television and film, to name a few. His experience is broad and impressive. This will be a challenge for Yamada. Robbins personal goal is to be ranked number one in the country. He plans on using mice as humans. They will be […]
