The 68th Golden Globes did not have a lot of nods to the dark, but there were a couple. For her sexy creepy performance in Black Swan, Natalie Portman won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama. For his score, written with Atticus Ross, Trent Reznor won a Golden Globe for Best Original Score – Motion Picture. Atticus Ross, of the onetime Nothing Records band 12 Rounds, most recently scored The Book of Eli and collaborated with Trent Reznor, as a producer, engineer, and/or musician, on the Nine Inch Nails albums With Teeth, Year Zero, Ghosts I–IV, and The Slip.
