Midnight Son World Premiere

| |

BlueBlood.net reports that, since Vampire Con, many vampire fans have been waiting for Midnight Son’s official release. Gothic.net is pleased to be able to share a preview peek at this creative take on the vampire movie genre.

Gothic.net just posted the new trailer for Midnight Son.

According to the official Midnight Son movie website, the much anticipated film will be making its world premier at the San Jose Cinequest Film Festival on March 4th. I was able to catch a rough cut at VampireCon, along with a great discussion with the director, and I fully recommend checking this one out as soon as you get the chance. This smart and entertaining film has a very real and relatable up close and personal feel to it, relying on the talents of the actors instead of ridiculous ‘Vampire Movie’ special effects. It was unpredictable without becoming a real mess and I actually found myself hoping things worked out for the main characters. Best of all, the story is really well done and enjoyable.

Midnight Son will continue making appearances at independent film festivals including the just announced March 5 showing at the Omaha Film Festival. The midnightsonmovie.com website has information about how you can request screenings in your area.

MIDNIGHT SON is the story of Jacob, a young man confined to a life of isolation, due to a rare skin disorder that prevents him from being exposed to sunlight. His world opens up when he meets Mary, a local bartender, and falls in love. Tragically, Jacob’s actions become increasingly bizarre as he struggles to cope with the effects of his worsening condition. Forced by the disease to drink human blood for sustenance, he must control his increasingly violent tendencies as local law enforcement narrow their focus on him as a suspect in a series of grisly murders.
