Finally we have the return of my favorite Immortalizer, Takeshi Yamada. Tonight he goes up against the challenger, Gary Robbins. Tonight’s theme is “Heaven and Hell”, which should provide for an interesting contest. Robbins is a Hollywood taxidermist that provides his pieces for television and film, to name a few. Immortalizer Dave Houser is against the challenger Erich Carter. Carter has been a taxidermist for over forty years and he’s won rewards as well as made pieces for celebrities. Houser and his pink Mohawk are put to the test as we get the theme, “First Love”. Houser proclaims himself to be edgy and controversial. Once again we see the Immortalizer Beth Beverly going up against a new challenger, Bill MacFarland. The challenger Bill MacFarland, from Limerick, Pennsylvania, is a hunter, artist and commercial taxidermist. He prides himself on his unique habitats in his work. He’s been practicing taxidermy for around four years. With a degree in fine arts, MacFarland explains that this element makes him a strong opponent. In tonight’s quest for the title, we see the challenger Rick Nadeau going head-to-head with the Immortalizer Page Nethercutt. The challenger, Rick Nadeau, is from Mitchell, Illinois, and he’s known as ‘the squirrel man’. He can perform taxidermy on a squirrel in under two minutes. He’s mounted over 2,500 squirrels in 10 years and claims nobody can do what he can do. His motivation to win is to help his taxidermy business so that he can do it full time. Tonight, we have the challenger, Cat Grey, going up against the Immortalizer, Dave Houser. Cat uses the words creative, morbid, and evil genius to describe herself. She’s considered a rogue taxidermist. Houser has been a taxidermist since high school and has many awards to his name. He also enjoys dancing in his studio. Tonight we have the Challenger, Mike “Mac” McCullough, going up against the Immortalizer, Takeshi Yamada. McCullough, from Ft. Louden, Pennsylvania, has been in taxidermy for 32 years and he calls his work art. He started more traditional, but over time has become more artistic. He’s completed around 5,000 pieces during his career. This week on “Immortalized”, host Zach Selwyn introduces the Challenger, CJ Fegan, a multiple award winning and second generation taxidermist from Maryland that wants to prove he is the best, and the Immortalizer, Page Nethercutt, also a second generation and award winning taxidermist, from North Carolina, is a former taxidermist of the year who is familiar with Fegan through his taxidermist father.
