Flawless Gothic Charm – Makeup Tutorial
This makeup is thought as an everyday-use look, so the colors are impeccably matched to allow for day-to-day application to coordinate them with various garment styles. At the same time, they remain powerful enough that they do create and showcase the gothic concept fittingly. The blade-like lines on the eyes with the black eyeliner are spectacular, and the addition of the little inverted black cross is a nice touch that helps put together the whole gothic expression.
Another element that deserves a mention are, of course, the lips. I really enjoyed how Megan Mayhem managed to create the velvety look with the lipstick in this makeup tutorial, and how she chose to go for a crimson color to keep the gothic colors and shades present, but at the same time punching up the glamour and magic of the piece, making it a perfect addition to your repertoire of makeup ideas, and one that will surely become a favorite.
