We survived the first episode without one shred of a white walker or the Night King, and here we are at episode 2. Are we to see the dead attack finally? Does Jon actually tell Dany who is truly is? Do Sansa and Dany go at each other’s throats? Man, so many questions. So little time. Let’s get right into Season 8, Episode 2’s recap! The episode starts out with the amazing inner views of the broken wall, Last Hearth, and an in depth look […]

Well, if you’re like me, then you’ve been waiting not so patiently on the return of GoT. Finally – after what seemed like forever – we are finally here. So, let’s get right into the recap of Season 8, Episode 1 of Game of Thrones: Winterfell. The episode starts off with a kid chasing the view of a marching army, right past where Arya Stark stands – much like how Arya chased the view of the incoming arrival of the King and his family in […]

Let’s all sit back and have a bit of wine, shall we? ‘Er, maybe not if Arya Stark is serving it. Welcome to the HBO Game of Thrones: Season 7 premier recap! I know I for one was on the edge of my seat before the show even started, but how about opening with Arya killing off the entire nasty Frey family? We start off seeing Walder Frey gathering his whole family to celebrate. He touts their victories at the Red Wedding and makes sure […]

Whenever they show flashbacks to previous seasons during the teaser, I get nervous. We’re at the zenith of the season, y’all. And I for one am pumped. Welcome to HBO’s Game of Thrones. Mereen is under siege because Tyrion made a dumb choice. Dany and crew go to discuss surrender — not hers, mind you, but the masters’. Drogon is proving a mighty valuable asset, and she uses him to rouse her other dragons. They burn the attacking ships to ashes while the Dothraki handle […]

HBO’s Game of Thrones asks us a question this week. What happens to someone who’s assassination is thwarted by their own would-be assassin? Well for the actress who Arya refused to kill, the answer is save your not-killer’s life. Arya, bleeding from stabs to the stomach after ditching the House of Black and White, stumbled into the actress, Lady Crane’s dressing room. Arya turns down an invite to come be an actress in Pentos and instead suggests that she’d like to discover what’s West of […]

Aww well ain’t that wholesome. Welcome back to HBO’s Game of Thrones, where THE BAE HAS RETURNED. And by the Bae I mean we open to seeing The Hound is doing good, clean, hard work, building a… well, I’m not sure what it is, but by the seven they sure are building it! Facial hair and hard work seems to be doing him well. Seems he was saved by a Septon of the Seven, and the man seems to think there’s a plan in the […]

Well dang, Martin, been planning this one for a while, have you? On this week’s episode of Game of Thrones, Sansa gets a letter asking her to meet with Littlefinger in Moletown. Baelish is either stupid (doubtful) or conniving, as he plays dumb with Sansa regarding the Boltons. The writing is, frankly, wildly disappointing. Sansa deserves so much better than they’re giving her. Meanwhile Arya had her sight back and is still struggling with the staves fighting. She stays with it though, refusing to throw […]

Welcome back to HBO’s Game of Thrones. This week I got a tattoo in honor of Arya (It’s a sword with “Not Today” written around it. It’s pretty cool. Yes, my parents are disappointed.) and I didn’t even see her! What gives? But this week we did get to see the reunions we’ve all been waiting for — Jon and Sansa! She rolls into Castle Black and they hug and they talk about when they were kids and I have a lot of feelings. Sansa […]

On this week’s episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones, I’m already stressed by the episode hints. Whenever they show stuff from old seasons as the teaser, I worry. We start off on FrankenJon. And Kit Herrington’s booty. Can’t complain about that I guess. Yes, surprising no one, Jon is back from the dead and freaking out about it. Melisandre thinks Jon is the chosen one now, not Stannis. The Wildlings think he’s a god. There’s a lot of manhugging, which is refreshingly lower on the […]

It’s good to see Bran again. We start off episode two of season six of Game of Thrones with a hella flashback. It’s Bran watching the memory of his father and brother, and the aunt he never knew, as children in Winterfell. It’s pretty sad when you think about it. Hodor is there, like a scene from Wizard of Oz, and his name was Willas – and he could talk! I think this is a bigger and worse book spoiler than anything last episode. Back […]
