Back To The 90’s – Makeup Tutorial
Here’s a makeup tutorial that takes me back to a simpler time where I could feel like things didn’t matter as much as they seem to now. It is a fantastic time machine crafted by Snowy Lowther, which she uses to show us how to create a very simple but highly effective 90’s Gothic look.
This speaks to me on a personal level, because the 90’s were the time when I got into the whole Gothic world, when the darkness spread its wings and took me in its embrace never to let go, and I’ve loved the style ever since, which is why it is so amazing to see how she puts together this look from start to finish, basing it on darker tones at first and then adding some color to the piece to punch it up in the end, making it vibrant and perfect for a night out, a concert, or any other scene where we want to look our best without seeming like we’re trying too hard.
