From The Frozen Depths – Halloween Makeup Tutorial
FEMININJA goes for a stunningly creative approach with this Ice Siren look she’s showing you how to recreate for Halloween, and something interesting about it is how easily she creates that grid on her face that gives the style a textured finish that makes it feel like she’s got actual scales on her skin. To accomplish this, she brushes the color through a basket to create the symmetrical look, which goes to show how creative you can get when putting together a marvelous style.
Since this makeup look also works with the idea of ice, added to the cooler shades of blue she applies, she adds some transparent gems on her forehead and below her eyes, to accentuate the siren look, and to give the glossy finish a frosty touch by achieving an effect that shows that there are water beads frozen on her face, or that she has become so accustomed to the cold, ice is now a part of her visage.
